Sorry about the quilts being out of order

Well, that didn't come out like it showed up on the template. The quilts were two to a row there and they came out all in a row on the finished page. The descriptions are correct, though, and in the order that the quilts are displayed top to bottom.

Someone asked how in the world I managed to quilt the one with the tiny little 2.5" squares, so here's a picture of how it was done:

I just counted in from the outer edge and started in the middle and worked my way out. Kind of a rectangular bull's eye. This quilt came out of the washer and dryer very soft and supple and I know some child is going to enjoy using it this winter.

HERE'S THOSE QUILTS I'VE BEEN MAKING

The upper left picture is the "standard" quilt that I've been making for a while now -- all 6" squares. The upper right is some 2.5" charm squares that a lady (Hi, Mary) sent me to use, and the lower left is some 3.5" sqyares that she also sent. That cute little Noah's Ark is a panel that I found and only cost 50 cents each. They had 6 left on the bolt and I got them ALL. Can you blame me?

NEW BLOG -- WITH PICTURES THIS TIME

Finally, I have a blog that I can post pictures on. That other one either didn't download correctly or not all of it downloaded and there was no provision to add pictures to it. The things I do are visual, so I really need those pictures.

These pictures are some mittens that I made recently for my charity group -- NativeAmericanSupport -- and will be part of a blitz that we'll have the first week of October. Many of the members (and their friends) are making mittens, and we hope to have all warm hands this winter for the children as they make their way to school. There's a total of 9 pair of knit mittens and 54 pair of sewn fleece mittens going in my donation.

I'll bask in the glory of being able to share pictures now and write again soon with pictures of the quilts that I've been making as well as the one that a friend sent me for the children.
